Prospect Watch:On warm nights in El Paso the ball will fly. On some nights it goes for you and other times for the other team. Tonight it was the other team as the Chihuahuas gave up four runs in the fourth and five in the fifth...1B Cody Decker had his second straight multi-hit game and now has six extra-base hits for eight games in May. Decker, once again, is now leading the organization with six home runs and 21 RBI...McCutchen came into the game as having the lowest ERA of any starter at 3.65 and left with a 5.51...Brett Wallace has been strong all year at 3B with a .327 batting average and have to wonder if he could be an option for the big club...Rico Noel, who spent all of last year with El Paso, was called up from Extended Spring to replace Abraham Almonte who was promoted to the big leagues.

Prospect Watch:As with El Paso, San Antonio got pasted. Morris, who only gave up one earned run in his first three starts of the year, has now given up 11 earned runs in his subsequent three...Jankowski keeps on hitting with a pair of singles tonight and also has a a .443 on-base percentage, which was fourth overall in the Texas League coming into the game...Turner is tied for first in RBI on the team with 14.
Lancaster Jethawks 3 -Storm 1
Prospect Watch:DePaula, who along with Yangervis Solarte came over in the Yankees trade for Chase Headley, had his best outing of the year but the Storm could manage only one run on five hits...2B Fernando Perez’s eight game hitting streak ended last night but he was able to pick up a hit tonight. After hitting only .186/.293/.286 in April he is hitting .394/.444/.758 in May. The only glaring blemish is a .133 against lefties in 33 plate appearances...Donavan Tate was 0-3 in right field...C Ryan Miller will leave for Arizona to begin his rehab assignment after the Storm’s road trip.

Prospect Watch:The TinCaps got the lone win in the system on Saturday night as RF Edwin Moreno’s bunt single in the tenth sent home Nick Torres to give the hometown team the win...Gettys had three hits tonight but also a pair of strikeouts to push his total to 38 for the season, which is second worst in the Midwest League...for the third straight game Franchy Cordero was the DH...With all of the talk on Gettys and Cordero, Torres is having a great season at .333/.382/.500 and is fourth in the league in total bases with 51.
