Prospect Watch CF Rico Noel was just sent to El Paso when Almonte was called up. In the four games since he has hit a cool .385 with two stolen bases. Robbie Erlin continues to struggle to put up consistent results in El Paso. Yes it is a hitters' haven, but you would hope for better results.

Prospect Watch Colin Rea continues to be the ace of the Missions. Rea has a WHIP of just 0.82, and ERA just north of one, and batters are hitting just .208 off of him. If that wasn’t enough, his five punch outs verse one walk actually hurt his average, as he has an over 6:1 K to BB ratio.
Storm 5 – Inland Empire 66ers 8
Prospect Watch Ryan Butler had his first bad start. Today marked the first time in his big league career that he has allowed more than three earned runs in any start and also was the first time he allowed double digit hits. Despite that, Butler' ERA is 1.96 ERA which is one of the best in the Cal League.

Fort Wayne Tin Caps 0 – Lake County Captains 5
Prospect Watch After having an awful April, Franmil has found a lot more success in April. His OPS has increased by over 300 points, as it has gone from .487 to .844. Even more encouraging, Reyes had just one extra-base hit in all of April. In the past week he has had five… Franchy Cordero was the DH in todays game after playing left field yesterday (0-4, 2 K).
