Prospect Watch After having an ERA over eight for his last four starts, Needy finally got back on track tonight. He needed just 80 pitches to get through five innings, and has yet to throw over 95 pitches in any start (with only having one start above 90 pitches). Last year Needy threw 145 innings so he shouldn’t be on any type of innings limit… After destroying pitchers during spring training, Tommy Medica has only one home run this season. On the bright side he is riding a four game hitting streak.

No game for the San Antonio Missions
Storm 5 – Inland Empire 66ers 4 (11 innings)
Prospect Watch Over his last two weeks Auston Bousfield is hitting a stellar .364 with five RS,five RBI, and six stolen bases. If it wasn’t for an 0-5, 5 strikeout day last week he would be hitting over .400. Bousfield has seven multi-hit games in his last 10 games played.

Fort Wayne Tin Caps 2 – Lake County Captains 5
Prospect Watch Both Michael Gettys and Franchy Cordero got the day off. As such the offense struggled with the top five hitters going 0-18 with two walks and 10 strike outs. The TinCaps also made five errors in the field, so it was really a bad day at the plate and in the field. For the season, Fort Wayne has now committed 60 errors in 30 games…This needs to pick up for any type of success this season.
