The big first baseman has power to the pull side but has not been able to maintain a consistent stroke in 2016 ... The 8th overall pick in June’s draft threw three innings and allowed an earned run, while striking out four. The 7.50 ERA looks abysmal but one bad inning has skewed his numbers. Quantrill looks to be getting stretched out and one has to wonder if he will move to Fort Wayne in the next few weeks ... RHP Adrian De Horta made his 2016 debut and pitched two scoreless innings. The 8th-rounder in 2013 has battled injuries and wildness throughout his career that may be winding down if he can’t stay healthy.
