El Paso's five game post-season streak comes to an end as they fall to the OKC Dodgers

Prospect Watch: El Paso had a shot of the sweep, up 2-1 going into the bottom of the seventh but the OKC Dodgers bounced back with three runs in the bottom of the frame when former Padres Will Venable two-RBI bouncing single off of second baseman Carlos Asuaje’s glove up the middle was the difference in the game. OKC tacked on an additional run on a two-out RBI…The Chihuahuas got on the board first with Kivelhan’s monster solo shot in the second and added on in the seventh inning with an RBI single by Diego Goris bringing home right fielder Hunter Renfroe…On Wednesday night the top four in the order, Manuel Margot, Asuaje, Austin Hedges and Renfroe had 10 hits, tonight they were held to two…Rodriguez threw nearly an identical game that he did against Tacoma a week ago, but the El Paso bullpen - which has barely allowed any runs - broke tonight on some walks and a seeing-eye single…Game 4 is tomorrow night from OKC and if necessary, Game 5 will also be there on Sunday afternoon...In the post-game show Chihuahuas' announcer Tim Hagerty stated that tomorrow's starter could be either RHP Dinelson Lamet or LHP Seth Simmons, who was the best pitcher in Double-A San Antonio in the second half.
