For the season, Oxspring, who led his native Australia to a silver medal finish in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, is 5-2 with a 4.65 ERA in 12 starts for the Beavers.
Oxspring's honor gave the Beavers back-to-back Pitcher of the Week awards, as right-handed reliever Brad Baker earned the honor for May 30-June 5.
