Emeralds single game tickets on sale Thursday

EUGENE – Single game tickets for the Emeralds 2006 season go on sale Thursday, June 1st at 9:00 a.m. Fans wishing to purchase box seat tickets for any of the Ems 38 home games may do so either in person at the Civic Stadium ticket office or by phone with a credit card by calling 342-5367. All ticket orders by phone will be assessed a $2.00 per order surcharge.

Tickets to all home games, with the exception of the July 3rd contest, are also available online at www.go-ems.com.

The Emeralds annual fireworks display is once again presented by Bi-Mart and takes place on July 3rd when the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes pay a visit to Civic Stadium. Other schedule highlights include a series of top quality giveaways such as PeaceHealth Medical Group/KVAL Bat Night on Friday, July 14th, Three Rivers Casino/KVAL Cap Night on Saturday, July 15th, U.S. Army Floppy Hat/Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, July 22nd, Pepsi-Cola/FOX Baseball Card Night on Friday, August 4th and Bi-Mart/KMTR Cap Night on Saturday, August 12th.

The Emeralds have a number of special events that will take place at Civic Stadium this season highlighted by KFLY Radio Thirsty Thursday, featuring discounts on all stadium beverages. Thursday's also will feature Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contests prior to each game.

A trio of entertainment acts will be at Civic Stadium this season to entertain the family starting with "Reggy" on Sunday, June 25th. Comcast presents Nickelodeon's Tommy and Angelica from "Rugrats" and Arnold from "Hey, Arnold" on Sunday, August 6th and "The Blues Brothers Act" makes a return appearance on Friday, August 11th.

The Emeralds open the season on June 19th against the Boise Hawks. Action from Memorial Stadium begins at 6:15 p.m. on KPNW-AM 1120 with Russ Eisenstein. The home opener is set for June 24th when the Emeralds entertain the Spokane Indians at 7:05 p.m.
