The debut of MadFriars.com Padres' short-season Power Rankings shows many of the 2006 MLB Draft selections dominating the board. No player made waves like David Freese who debuts at number one and will no longer be eligible for this list after moving to Fort Wayne. Dominican Summer League players are eligible for the list and present and accounted for.

5) Cesar Flores – CL – DSL Padres

In seven games he has five saves and two wins. He has struck out 12 in 8.1 innings and has allowed just three hits. Last Week: NR

6) Aneidy Toribio – SP – DSL Padres

Nine hits allowed in 19.2 innings and a WHIP of 0.81. He has given up one run or less in three of four starts.Last Week: NR

7) Craig Cooper – 1B – Eugene

Is hitting .481 with runners in scoring position, going 13-for-27. He has been on base in 16 straight games to open the year. Last Week: NR

8) Nate Culp – SP – Eugene

Six straight without a run allowed and just six appearances all year where a run has crossed the plate. Righties are hitting .097 off him with seven hits in 72 at bats.Last Week: NR

10) Yoeli Florentino - OF – DSL Padres
