Gameday Audio from Eugene: Epping, Huffman

EUGENE-- Mike Epping and Chad Huffman, two of the stars of the day, talk about the big 4-2 win in 12 innings on Thursday night.

Centerfielder Mike Epping talks about his walk-off homer in front of the home crowd, the job the Emeralds pitchers did and more:

The leadoff hitter is batting .316 with runners in scoring position this season but the homer came off a left-hander, a spot he has struggled with as noted by his .239 average off southpaws.

Left fielder Chad Huffman talks about the big hits from himself and Epping:

Fourteen of Huffman's 34 hits on the year have gone for extra bases and he has found a home in the five-spot in the lineup, hitting .325 in the 21 games where he bats fifth, as opposed to his 8-for-37 mark when he bats elsewhere.
