Mike Thompson talks changes

There is a comfort level found with small adjustments. Mike Thompson is making those changes to get back to the pitcher that contributed heavily to a San Diego Padres pennant last year.

Back in Triple-A Portland, Mike Thompson had his second straight solid outing but earned a no-decision. The right-hander allowed one run on five hits and two walks over seven solid innings.

Thompson had gone 0-1 with a 7.84 ERA over five outings with the Padres this season before being sent down.

He talked about his start on Tuesday, how the team seems to be coming together, and the changes he has made on the mound to improve.
