Hensley not sad about Bonds homer

Portland, OR-- Clay Hensley isn't necessarily mad about giving up a homer to Barry Bonds, the one that tied Hank Aaron for the most all-time.

Back in Triple-A, Clay Hensley stood up to the challenge and met the press with honesty.

He noted that he joked with Bonds after the game and was glad to not be the one to give up 756.

Hensley has gone 1-3 with a 6.18 ERA in San Diego this year and allowed two runs over 4.2 innings in his spot start against San Francisco.

The odd man out, Hensley hopes to be back with the Padres in the next week.

In Portland, Hensley is 2-6 with a 6.90 ERA over 11 starts. He does feel like his old self and noted he is now pain-free.
