Over parts of 13 Major League seasons with the Detroit Tigers (1995-2001), Boston Red Sox (2002), New York Mets (2003), New York Yankees (2004) and Diamondbacks (2005-2007), Clark is a career .265 hitter (1142-for-4315) with 224 doubles, 11 triples, 244 home runs, 789 RBI and 610 runs scored.
Clark is a 1990 graduate of Christian High School in El Cajon, CA where he earned All-American and Academic All-American honors in baseball and basketball. He signed with the Detroit Tigers as their first-round selection (second overall) in the 1990 First-Year Player Draft and also played basketball at the University Arizona and San Diego State University.
Drew Macias, 24, split the majority of the 2007 season between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A Portland, also making one pinch-running appearance with the Padres on September 29. In 131 minor league games, he hit .259 (114-for-441) with 21 doubles, six triples, 10 home runs, 61 RBI, 57 runs scored and eight stolen bases. Over parts of five minor league seasons in the Padres organization, Macias is a career .266 hitter (553-for-2082) with 92 doubles, 24 triples, 33 home runs, 241 RBI, 280 runs scored and 58 stolen bases in 584 games.
