Shuhei Fujiya, who was the 534th overall pick, finished his career at Northern Iowa tied for the school record for career saves. The right-handed pitcher notched nine saves in 2009, helping him to earn honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Conference honors.
In 21 appearances, Fujiya went 1-4 with a 3.97 ERA. Across 22.2 innings, he allowed 20 hits, walked 12 and struck out 22.
