Tennessee RB in no rush

Kesahwn Vaughn has had a fairly quiet summer. He had added a couple of scholarship offers, he took three visits, and he is still examining his options...

Three-star running back Keshawn Vaughn is in no rush.

Vaughn is taking his time with the recruiting process and he does not plan to make a decision on a school until he takes some of his allotted official visits.

"I am not close to committing," Vaughn said. "I don't have any school above another one yet, so I am not close.

"I don't believe I will take all five of the official visits, but I will take some, and I will be committing during the season.

"I visited Vanderbilt, Louisville, and Illinois over the summer. Vanderbilt offered me this summer and Wisconsin did too.

"I am looking for playing time, a great education, and a place that feels like family to me."

Vaughn is a 5-foot-10, 207 pound senior running back out of Nashville (Tenn.) Pearl Cohn. Quite a few schools have caught his eye, one being in-state Vanderbilt. He is still giving each school a chance.

He will likely begin to narrow his list down and schedule some official visits within the next six weeks.

Vaughn is the No. 12 prospect in Tennessee according to Scout.
