The Clearwater Threshers were the only team in the Phillies organization to pick up a win Friday night

It was a rough night in the Phillies organization on Friday. The Clearwater Threshers were the only team in the system to pick up a win and they needed some ninth inning heroics to get the win over Fort Myers.

Clearwater and Fort Myers went into the ninth inning knotted up at six-each, but the Threshers were able to put together enough offense to scratch out a run and take a 7-6 win Friday.

Josh Tobias opened the ninth with a base-hit and moved to second on a bunt by Carlos Tocci. After an intentional walk to Kyle MartinChace Numata ruined the strategy with a base-hit to right to score Tobias with the go-ahead run. Earlier in the game, Numata hit a two-run home run, his second of the season, and he finished the night with two hits and three RBI for Clearwater. Numata's home run was the only one hit in the Phillies organization on Friday. Tobias went 2-for-4 to continue his hot hitting since joining Clearwater, but his average actually dropped to .636 with the Threshers.

All together, Clearwater had 12 hits, but struck out 16 times in the game, with Mitch Walding going down on strikes four times in the game.

Victor Arano threw two innings of shutout relief, giving up just a leadoff single in the ninth, to pick up his fourth win of the season, against just one loss. Starter Drew Anderson was shelled for five earned runs on six hits and two walks in just 1 2/3 innings of work, but the Clearwater bullpen gave the team 7 1/3 innings of work, allowing just one unearned run in the game. They allowed five hits, but didn't walk a batter, while striking out five.
