An impressive day for Lehigh Valley, as they beat Pawtucket 6-0 and then staged a come-from-behind win in the nightcap to win 7-6 and sweep a double-header. Plus, Reading used some power for a 7-6 win of their own.

AAA - Pawtucket Red Sox 0, Lehigh Valley 6 (Game One)

WP: Nick Pivetta (2-0), LP: Kyle Kendrick (0-2), SV: none

HR: LV - Rhys Hoskins 2 (3), Logan Moore (1); PAW - none

Hitting Recap: Hoskins continued to swing a hot bat, driving in three runs with his two longballs, and finished the game hitting .344 (11-for-32)... Moore also had two hits - a HR and a double - upping his average to .444 (4-for-9).

Pitching Recap: Pivetta gave up just five hits, and didn't walk a batter to get the complete game win. he also struck out five batters in the game.

'Pigs Notes: Lehigh Valley was facing 2009 alumnus Kyle Kendrick, who gave up seven hits and no walks in throwing a complete game, but was also tagged for six earned runs.

HR: LV - Dylan Cozens (2), Nick Williams (1); PAW - Jantzen Witte (1), Sam Travis (1)

Hitting Recap: Williams finished the game 3-for-3 and his seventh inning home run snapped a 6-6 tie, coming just one batter after Cozens tied the game with his second home run of the season... Lehigh Valley scored five runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 5-0 deficit... Cam Perkins two-run double was the big blow in the inning.

Pitching Recap: Mark Appel 3 IP, 5 H, 5 ER, 3 BB, 2 K... Ramos entered the game with two runners on and one out in the sixth inning, and stranded both runners... Adam Morgan made his 2017 debut with Lehigh Valley after being optioned out from Philadelphia earlier in the week and threw a perfect fourth inning... To make room for Morgan, the Phillies reassigned reliever Wander Perez to Reading.

AA - Richmond [SF Giants] 6, Reading 7

HR: RICH - Slade Heathcott (1), Chris Shaw (3), T.J. Bennett (1); RDG - Mitch Walding (1), Scott Kingery (4)

Hitting Recap: Reading hitters drew 11 walks, but also struck out 11 times in the game. The first six batters in the game struck out... Kingery had walked in his first three trips to the plate before taking a 2-0 pitch out to give Reading a 6-4 lead in the sixth inning.

Pitching Recap: Starter Shane Watson 4 1/3 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 1 K... Hollands was making his season debut and went 1 2/3 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 1 K.

High-A - Palm Beach Cardinals 1, Clearwater 2

Hitting Recap: Drew Stankiewicz tripled home Grullon, who reached on a two-out single in the bottom of the tenth inning... Grullon went 4-for-4 with a HR, an RBI and two runs scored, collecting seven total bases in the game.

Threshers Notes: Clearwater is now 8-3 and leads the Florida State League's North Division by one game over the Tampa Yankees.

Hitting Recap: Lakewood had just two hits on the day, one from Daniel Brito and one from Lucas Williams, both singles... 'Claws hitters also drew just one walk, while striking out seven times.

Pitching Recap: Medina 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K... Zach Morris threw a perfect top of the seventh.

'Claws Notes: Greensboro pitcher Shawn King retired the first 14 batters he faced and threw a complete game to get the win... The game's only run scored in the third inning, when Medina hit a batter and then surrendered an RBI double.

HR: GRE - none; LKW - none

Hitting Recap: Mickey Moniak went 1-for-2 with a walk, and stole his fourth base of the season... Carlos Duran went 2-for-3, but was caught stealing twice.

Pitching Recap: Bettencourt 2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 B, 3 K... Nick Fanti 4 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K... Hennigan worked out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the ninth, coming on in relief of Mauricio Llovera and striking out two batters.

'Claws Notes: Aaron Knapp, the brother of Phillies backup catcher Andrew Knapp plays for Greensboro. The 22-year old played center field last season, but is playing in right field so far this year, hitting .333 (10-for-30). Knapp was one of the batters struck out by Hennigan in the bottom of the seventh inning.
