While the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Red Barons and Clearwater Threshers look for their first win of the season, Reading and Lakewood look to climb over the .500 mark.

Scranton 5, Ottawa 4 (10)

A big day at the plate for J.P. Roberge, but it was newcomer Michel Hernandez who drove in the winning run as the Red Barons upped their record to 1-2 with a 10 inning win over the Lynx.

Akron 5, Reading 4

The Reading Phillies jumped out to an early lead, but the Aeros battled back and beat the Phils 5-4 with a four run eighth inning rally.

Dunedin 8, Clearwater 1

Three errors led to six unearned runs for Dunedin as they notched their third straight win over the Clearwater Threshers by an 8-1 score.

Kannapolis 3, Lakewood 1

Brandon McCarthy tossed six scoreless innings and Charlie Lisk homered for a second straight night to push Kannapolis past the BlueClaws 3-1 Saturday night in the third game of a season-opening, four-game set at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The Intimidators have taken the last two games of the series after Lakewood won on Opening Day.
