Eight Phils In Top 300 Prospect Rankings

The Scout.com network undertakes an ambitious project by ranking the top 300 prospects. The Phillies put eight players in the rankings, with left-hander Giovany Gonzalez leading the way at number 29 on the list.

The MLB Network on Scout has published the initial 2006 player rankings. With team publishers covering the farm systems through the country, this represents the deepest and most comprehensive minor league baseball coverage available.

More than 300 minor league prospects can be viewed by Position Ranking and Overall Ranking.
