Tickets for the World Series can be found. Actually, they're quite plentiful if you check around the web. Even though they're relatively easy to find, there aren't near enough to make it a buyer's market thanks to the laws of supply and demand.
If you're looking for tickets to Game 3 of the World Series, which will be played Saturday night in Philadelphia, open up the wallet and remove the credit card with the highest remaining balance. You can actually find Diamond Club seats on StubHub.com for $8,600.00 each! If you're willing - and able - to shell out the money for those tickets, God Bless You and have a good time.
For the rest of us, a nice seat behind the third base dugout will set up back about $2,000 each on StubHub, but the trick is that they're being sold via auction, so there's no telling how high the price may go. If that's still too much money to spend, how about tickets at the top of Citizens Bank Park, but just off center of home plate? Those are being auctioned off for about $900 each. And yes, there are standing room tickets going for about $350 each, but again, these are auction prices and there's a lot of time between now and Saturday for the price to climb.
If you can afford a road trip, let's pack our bags.
Round-trip airfare from Philly to Tampa, a hotel room and a rental car will sock you anywhere between $376 per person to $527 per person on Priceline.com, depending on where you want to stay. Of course, if you have William Shatner in your corner, you might be able to do a little better.
Now that you're in Tampa and you have a place to stay, what about game tickets?
Well, for those tickets behind the third base dugout, be prepared to shell out $2,500 each on StubHub. The good news though is that you can buy them instantly and don't have an auction to drive the price up. If you want the upper deck tickets just off center of home plate, you're looking at about $300 per ticket, but remember, that the Trop has a higher upper deck than the Bank. Again though, that's a firm price and you don't have to endure an auction.

And oh yeah, don't forget that you're going to need some vacation time from work if you travel and maybe a day or two to recover from the celebration.
Hope those credit limits have a lot of room.
