Indianapolis - Matt Hague finished the season ranked first in the International League in hits (165), third in total bases (244) and sixth in batting average (.309)...Hague's 165 hits were the most by a member of the Indians since D.T. Cromer recorded 166 in 1999...Hague also became the first Indianapolis batter to lead the league in hits since Junior Noboa in 1989....Gorkys Hernandez finished tied for the league lead with nine triples...Justin Thomas made a league-leading 63 appearances.

Altoona - Starling Marte became the second player in Curve history to win the Eastern League batting title (also Jeff Keppinger in 2004)...Marte led the league in batting average (.332) and hits (178), tied for first in doubles (38), second in runs scored (91) and total bases (268) and fourth in extra base hits (58)...Kyle McPherson led all Pirates farmhands with 142 strikeouts, the most since Todd Redmond in 2006 (148)...Phillip Irwin led the Pirates minor league system in wins (13)...Irwin's eight wins with the Curve beginning on June 19 until the end of the season ranked tied for second among all Double-A pitchers...Irwin also allowed just one unearned run in his last two starts (12.0ip)...Michael Colla finished ninth in the league in ERA (3.70), fifth in WHIP (1.17) and third in batting average against among starters (.226).

Bradenton - Three members of the Marauders finished in the top four in the league in batting average... Ramon Cabrera won the Florida State League batting title with a .343 average...Elevys Gonzalez finished second in the league with a .322 while Adalberto Santos ranked fourth with a .314 average...Cabrera finished the year with the highest batting average by a Pirates farmhand since Jim Negrych hit .359 in 2008...Robbie Grossman led all of minor league baseball with 127 runs scored, which was the most by any minor leaguer since at least 2005...It was also the most runs scored by a Pirates minor leaguer since at least 1990.

West Virginia - Zack Von Rosenberg was named the South Atlantic League Pitcher-of-the-Week today after tossing 6.0 perfect innings in his September 2 start at Delmarva...Jameson Taillon tossed a combined 8.0 scoreless innings in his last two starts...The Power recorded a league-high tying 13 shutouts.

State College - Nicholas Kingham led all Pirates farmhands with a 2.15 ERA, which ranked third in the New York-Penn League...Taylor Lewis led the league in triples (seven)...Alex Dickerson ranked second among all Short-Season players with 16 doubles since making his professional debut on July 16.

GCL Pirates - Jose Osuna finished third in the Gulf Coast League in batting average (.331) and tied for second in hits (59) and doubles (14)...Alen Hanson had a league-leading seven triples...Jodaneli Carvajal ranked second in the league in runs scored (44)...Logan Pevny led the league in wins (seven).

Pittsburgh's eight minor league teams finished with a combined .512 winning percentage, which ranked sixth among all National League teams...Six of the eight teams posted a .500 or better record.
