GVB – You've have struggled against left-handed pitching, are you concerned or do you feel that will come with more at bats?
GP – I have to keep working, I have to work on my swing and my approach. I'm just going to keep working.
GVB – You leading off and you have been very patient as a young hitter. Has that patience at the plate developed over time?
GP – I like to take pitches and see how the pitcher is throwing, I like to work the count and not just swing at the first pitch. I like to take some pitches.
GVB – How do you feel about your defense? Are you getting acclimated to PNC Park and some of the quirks in the different ballparks?

GVB – Your arrival here in Pittsburgh was so anticipated by the fans and the media, has that put any added pressure on you?
