Remembering '60 Bucs

This is a story we did last year and have decided to republish in honor of the 1960 World Champs. October 13 is the 46th anniversary of the Pittsburgh Pirates 1960 World Series triumph over the New York Yankees.

It's the day that Bill Mazeroski, hit a home run leading off the ninth inning at Forbes Field to win game seven of the 1960 World Series 10-9, against the heavily favored Yankees.
It was a great upset and one of the most treasured moments in Pittsburgh sports history.
George Von Benko had a chance to chat with three key members of that storied team.
