Caracas posted 20 runs against the Tampa Bay club on Monday morning, and shortstop Edwin Garcia had a hand in the action. Garcia batted ninth and went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk before exiting the game in the fifth inning.

The Leones plated 10 runs in the top of the first inning. The club pulled most of its starters with a 15-1 lead after the top of the fifth.

Renny Osuna is generally a middle infielder and––on rare occasion––a left fielder. The 25-year-old played centerfield for La Guaira on Monday and even recorded a putout while playing errorless ball. Osuna went 0-for-4 at the plate, dropping his average to .295 through 11 games.
