The Arizona Fall League season concluded with Saturday's championship game. There will be a piece reviewing the performances of Rangers prospects in the circuit on the site later this week.

Venezuelan Winter League

Aguilas del Zuila starter Wilfredo Boscan (1.95 ERA/.231 BAA) continued his phenomenal winterball run with five innings of one-hit ball, yielding one run. He walked one and didn't record a strikeout.

The 22-year-old Boscan has the following line in nine appearances, including seven starts––37 ip, 31 h, 8 er, 7 bb, 19 k. He is inducing just over 1.6 groundouts per flyout. Boscan's 1.95 earned-run average currently ranks sixth in the circuit in his first winterball campaign.

Joey Butler saw action as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and struck out in his lone plate appearance.

Dominican Winter League

There were no games in the Dominican Republic on Thursday.

Liga Paralela (Venezuela Minor League)

Right-hander Richard Alvarez worked a 1-2-3 seventh inning for Caracas, getting two flyouts and a strikeout. The 19-year-old prospect has now tossed four shutout frames over four winterball relief appearances.
