Lone Star Dugout Video: Extended ST Hitters

SURPRISE, Ariz. – After last week's conclusion of extended spring training, some of the players will move on to short-season Spokane while others will remain in Surprise for rookie ball. Lone Star Dugout has video of six Rangers prospects taking at-bats during an extended spring game.

The following video comes from the Texas Rangers' extended spring training game against the Cincinnati Reds' extended club on May 12. The video includes at-bats from OF Desmond Henry, INF Alberto Triunfel, 1B Ronald Guzman, INF Ryan Rua, OF Guillermo Pimentel, and 3B Smerling Lantigua.

Rua and Lantigua will be heading to play for the short-season Spokane Indians, who begin their summer slate this Friday. Henry, Triunfel, and Guzman will be playing for the rookie-level Surprise Rangers, who start on June 20. Pimentel was released by the Rangers at the conclusion of extended spring.
