The Missouri staff has been busy out on the recruiting trail. ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with 2013 WR prospect J'Mon Moore 6'5" 184 Missouri City (TX) Elkins, who is verbally committed to Mizzou, and who recently received a visit from Missouri assistant Craig Kuligowski. He updated us on his recruitment, including plans for his official visit to Missouri.
Moore said that Coach Kul was by to see him earlier this week. The two of them talked about a number of things, not the least of which is the fact that Moore is still growing, and currently measures 6'4.5". Coach Kul and Moore also talked about Moore's official visit to Missouri which is set for December 7th.
Moore said that he's "nearly 100%" solidly committed to Missouri, and that he doesn't have plans for any other official visits.
Moore had gone through some testing at a combine last summer, and he reported a laser-timed 4.50 forty-yard dash, to go along with a 39" standing vertical.
"I can get up," explained Moore, who also said that his high school coach had hand-timed him at 4.4 in the forty this fall.
Moore is going to flourish in Missouri's strength and conditioning program, and he has the frame to add considerable quality weight. He told me that he doesn't think he's done growing.
"My father is six-foot-eight," Moore told me.
Moore was going to play basketball again this winter, but the coaches at his high school want him to focus on football, as he prepares to arrive at Missouri in June.
ShowMeMizzou.com will have more on Moore later.
