Dominican Winter League

There were no games in the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

Venezuelan Winter League

Caracas reliever Ben Rowen worked a perfect eighth inning, inducing two groundouts and striking out one. He threw 10 of his 14 pitches for a strike.

After beginning his offseason by logging 14 innings in the Arizona Fall League, the submarining righty has yielded just one earned run over five frames in Venezuela.

Aragua third baseman Yangervis Solarte raised his batting average to .301 with a monster performance. The utility man went 4-for-5 with a double, scoring three runs and driving home another.

Liga Paralela (Venezuela Minor League)

The Liga Paralela season concluded on Friday with Magallanes finishing off Tampa Bay in the best-of-three championship series.

Mexican Pacific League

Jose Felix got his first-ever professional start at first base on Sunday, and he played errorless ball in the field. At the plate, the Mexico native singled twice in four trips, raising his batting average to .308.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Leones de Ponce catcher Kevin Torres, who got the start and batted ninth on Sunday, had a pair of singles in four at-bats. He bumped his winterball batting average to .133 with the performance.
