Five Mariners in Top-100

The Seattle Mariners Top-5 prospect each cracked the Top-100 for 2013, with four of those coming in the top half of the ranking. Full details inside.

The annual ranking of the Top-100 prospects in the minor leagues by has been released and the Seattle Mariners placed five of their prospects on the list as follows:

Taijuan Walker - No. 5 overall
Danny Hultzen - No. 11 overall
Mike Zunino - No. 30 overall
Nick Franklin - No. 47 overall
James Paxton - No. 82 overall

Walker and Zunino both rank as the No. 3 prospects at their respective positions with Hultzen being the 6th pitcher, Franklin 8th at shortstop and Paxton the 38th pitcher (8th left-hander).

The five players do represent the same five that SeattleClubhouse had as our top Mariners' prospects, albeit in a slightly different order than we had in our rankings.
