Steve Rowe's Triple-A scoreless streak was put to an end, as he surrendered four runs on five hits in 2 2/3 frames.

Centerfielder Freddy Guzman was 2-for-4 with two doubles, giving him six on the season.

Right fielder Kevin Mahar continued to hit well in his Triple-A debut, as he was 2-for-4 with a couple of singles.

Southpaw Scott Rice did not allow a run despite giving up four hits in two innings.

Playing in his first Texas League game, left fielder Brandon Boggs was 1-for-3 with a base on balls.

Shortstop Casey Benjamin was 2-for-4 with a double while Travis Metcalf and Adam Fox also hit two-baggers.

Offensively, right fielder John Mayberry was the only highlight. The Stanford product was 2-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season.
