Making his second start in the minors, left-hander Bruce Chen allowed five runs in 4 1/3 innings. The native of Panama walked one and struck out four.
Steve Rowe's Triple-A scoreless streak was put to an end, as he surrendered four runs on five hits in 2 2/3 frames.
Centerfielder Freddy Guzman was 2-for-4 with two doubles, giving him six on the season.
Right fielder Kevin Mahar continued to hit well in his Triple-A debut, as he was 2-for-4 with a couple of singles.
L – Chenard (1-2)
Filling in for the injured Luis Mendoza, spot-starter Kenneth Chenard allowed six runs in just two innings on Sunday afternoon.
Southpaw Scott Rice did not allow a run despite giving up four hits in two innings.
Playing in his first Texas League game, left fielder Brandon Boggs was 1-for-3 with a base on balls.
Shortstop Casey Benjamin was 2-for-4 with a double while Travis Metcalf and Adam Fox also hit two-baggers.

Starting pitcher Ace Walker picked up his fourth loss of the season despite working into the eighth inning. The right-hander yielded four runs in 7.1 innings.
Southpaw Danny Ray Herrera struggled, as he gave up three runs on two hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.
Offensively, right fielder John Mayberry was the only highlight. The Stanford product was 2-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season.

Starting pitcher Zach Phillips fanned 10 in just four innings on Sunday afternoon. The southpaw, who has now struck out 34 in 27.1 innings, did not allow a run on two hits and three walks.
Designated hitter Chad Tracy was 1-for-5 with his second home run of the season.
Third baseman John Whittleman went 1-for-4 with at triple.
Right-hander Jon Hollis lowered his ERA to 2.08 with three blank frames. The 23-year-old gave up one hit while striking out two.
