W – Galarraga (4-3)
Frisco starter Armando Galarraga (4.85 ERA/.276 BAA) threw one of his best games of the year on Monday, as he gave up just four hits in 6 2/3 shutout innings. The righty walked three and struck out seven.
Left fielder Steve Murphy (.447/.450/.658 in June) was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.
Anthony Webster (2/4, 2B), Casey Benjamin (2/3, 3B, BB), and Emerson Frostad (2/4) also had multiple hits.
L – Bay (3-5)
Bakersfield starter Bear Bay dropped his fourth consecutive decision on Monday, as he yielded four runs in six frames. The native Texan allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out six.
Right fielder Jon Weber had two of the club's four hits. The Texas Tech product was 2-for-3 with a two-bagger.
Michael Wagner (2 IP) and Kevin Altman (1 IP) combined for three innings of scoreless relief.
W - Kiker (2-1)
SV – Marte (3)
Left-handed pitcher Kasey Kiker (2.45 ERA/.187 BAA) had possibly his best outing as a pro on Monday. The Alabama native surrendered just one hit in five scoreless innings. He walked three and struck out eight.
In 22 innings with the LumberKings this season, Kiker has allowed just 14 hits while walking 13 and striking out 35.
Catcher Manuel Pina (.429/.455/.524 in June) singled, doubled, and walked in three trips to the plate.
