Frisco's Edinson Volquez fanned 10 in just five innings on Monday while Freddy Guzman and Tug Hulett each went deep for Triple-A Oklahoma. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma 8 – (@) New Orleans 4 (Suspended – Top 9)

Oklahoma's Monday afternoon contest was suspended due to rain in the top of the ninth inning with the RedHawks leading 8-4.

Leadoff hitter Freddy Guzman was 3-for-5 with a home run and three stolen bases, giving him 19 steals on the year.

Second baseman Tim Hulett also went deep for his only hit of the game. It was his fourth round-tripper of the season.

Left fielder Jason Botts (2/5, 2B), right fielder Nelson Cruz (2/3, 2 2B, 2 BB), and third baseman Desi Relaford (2/5, 2B) each had multiple hits.

Mark Redman struggled with his control, walking five batters in just 4 2/3 innings. The Oklahoma product allowed three runs on six hits.

The game will be resumed in late-August.

The Texas League's first-half champions knocked off Midland 9-4 on Monday evening.

Edinson Volquez walked four batters in five innings, but he allowed just two runs while fanning a season-high 10 en route to his sixth victory of the year. The right-hander allowed four hits.

Every Frisco hitter except second baseman Adam Fox notched at least one hit.

Cleanup hitter Steve Murphy (.439/.444/.636 in June) raised his average to .324 with two hits in four at-bats.

Leadoff man Anthony Webster was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk while shortstop Casey Benjamin went 3-for-5 with a triple and a home run.

Right fielder John Mayberry singled twice in four at-bats.
