The Oklahoma RedHawks started off with six runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back, hitting four home runs off Omaha starter Scott Elarton. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

The RedHawks teed off on Omaha starter Scott Elarton, tagging him for seven runs and four long balls in just four innings.

Every player except Chris Stewart (who was 1-for-5) had two hits on the night.

Second baseman Tug Hulett (.256/.347/.375), DH Jason Botts (.320/.427/.544), RF Nelson Cruz (.345/.416/.759) and 3B Kevin West (.277/.330/.415) all homered. Cruz and West also doubled.

Steven Rowe got the win in relief, tossing four innings of one run, four-hit ball. He walked none and fanned three.

Reliever Wes Littleton threw two scoreless innings while Randy Williams got a shutout ninth.

Right fielder Jon Weber and catcher Brian Valichka each had three hits, including a double.

Centerfielder Truan Mehl was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer.

Shortstop David Peterson, who is 10-for-22 since joining the Blaze, had four singles in five plate appearances.

DH Taylor Teagarden raised his average to .330 with two hits – including a double – in five at-bats.

Starter Michael Schlact gave up six runs – five earned – on 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked three and struck out four.

Zach Phillips walked five batters in just 5 2/3 innings, leading to five runs. He also allowed five hits while striking out just one.

First baseman Mauro Gomez was 3-for-5 with a double while right fielder David Paisano singled three times in five at-bats.

Third baseman John Whittleman was 1-for-3 with two walks.

Though K.C. Herren had just one hit in five at-bats, it was his 10th triple of the season.

Brennan Garr threw a scoreless inning, striking out two.

Derek Holland yielded three runs on two hits and three walks in 2 2/3 innings. He fanned four.

Keisuke Ueno gave up just a hit and a walk in 2 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out five. The Japan native has allowed just two earned runs in 11 1/3 innings this season.

DH Mike Main was 1-for-4 with a double. It was his first extra base hit as a pro. Main has yet to see action on the mound.
