Despite being just 3-10 coming into the game, starting pitcher Andy Walker tossed one of the best games of the year for a pitcher in the Rangers organization.
The right-hander threw a complete game shutout, permitting just four hits while walking nobody. He struck out 13 in the performance.
Right fielder Jon Weber helped back Walker, as he was 2-for-4 with a double.
First baseman Freddie Thon (2/4, 2B), second baseman Micah Furtado (2/4, 3B) and catcher Brian Valichka (2/3) all had three hits.
Catcher Taylor Teagarden was 0-for-1, but he drew three walks.

Making his professional debut, righty Benjamin Henry struck out two batters in one inning.
