Chad Tracy (.269/.345/.615) hasn't returned to playing in the field since his hamstring injury, but he appears to be just fine at the plate. The designated hitter was 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs. The round-tripper was Tracy's third of the winter.

First baseman Ian Gac (1/4, BB) and right fielder K.C. Herren (0/4) also appeared.

Arizona Fall League: Surprise 10 – (@) Peoria 5

Chris Davis made his return to the Rafters lineup on Wednesday and went 1-for-4 with a walk.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus (2/5, 2B) and RF John Mayberry (2/5) each had two hits. Andrus added a pair of stolen bases.

Backstop Taylor Teagarden was 1-for-4. He caught former Longhorn and fellow Surprise Rafter Sam LeCure in the game's fifth and sixth innings.

Danny Herrera tossed a 1-2-3 ninth inning. He has allowed just one hit in 3 1/3 AFL innings thus far.

Mexican Winter League


Brandon Boggs moved back to third in the order for Mexicali and went 1-for-3 with a couple of walks.

DH Jason Botts was 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Venezuelan Winter League


No Rangers appeared on Wednesday night.

Dominican Winter League


Minor league free agents Francisco Cruceta (2.2 IP) and Jorge Vasquez (0.1 IP) each hurled scoreless relief for Cibao.
