Jason Botts raised his average to .306 with a couple of hits in five at bats.

Venezuelan Winter League

Free agent Kendy Batista struck out two in a pair of perfect innings. The right-hander has surrendered only one hit in seven innings this winter.

Dominican Winter League

Freddy Guzman was 1-for-4 for the second consecutive day.

Minor league free agent Franklyn German hurled a 1-2-3 inning for Licey.
