Winterball Roundup - 10/21

West Oahu sluggers Chad Tracy and Ian Gac each went deep on Sunday afternoon as the CaneFires picked up their sixth victory of the season. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

Hawaii Winter Baseball: West Oahu 6 – (@) Honolulu 4 (7 innings)

Left fielder Chad Tracy (.286/.342/.686) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, his fourth of the season. Tracy currently leads Hawaii Winter Baseball in slugging percentage.

Not far behind is first baseman Ian Gac (.300/.407/.540), who was 2-for-3 with a solo round-tripper. The homer was Gac's third.

K.C. Herren singled twice in four at bats. He drove in one run.

Arizona Fall League: Surprise – OFF
8-3, 2.0 GU

The Arizona Fall League took Sunday off.

Mexican Winter League

Brandon Boggs (.357/.438/.381) played right field on Sunday and went 2-for-5 with a double. It was his first extra-base hit of the season.

DH Jason Botts (.326/.431/.488) singled, homered, and walked twice for the Yaquis de Obregon.

Venezuelan Winter League

No Rangers played on Sunday. Max Ramirez's team – La Guaira – was rained out.

Dominican Winter League

Rangers farmhand Omar Beltre got the start for Este and surrendered four runs on four hits in 3 2/3 innings. The 26-year-old walked two and struck out three.

Escogido leadoff man Freddy Guzman was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. The speedy centerfielder is just 2-for-16 on the Dominican Winter League season thus far.
