Obregon slugger Jason Botts saw his average top the .400 mark on Friday while Rangers prospects John Mayberry and German Duran participated in the AFL's Rising Stars Game. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

Hawaii Winter Baseball: West Oahu 6 – Waikiki 5

Ian Gac (.295/.394/.557) went 1-for-3 with a home run – his fourth – and a walk for the CaneFires on Friday.

Left fielder Chad Tracy also played and was hitless in four at-bats.

Arizona Fall League: West Rising Stars 2 – East Rising Stars 3

Rangers prospects German Duran and John Mayberry appeared for the West in the "Rising Stars" showdown on Friday.

Mayberry picked up a single and a walk in five plate appearances while Duran was 0-for-3.

Mexican Winter League

DH Jason Botts got his average up to .407 with a 2-for-3 outing with two walks and two runs batted in.

Venezuelan Winter League

Free agent catcher Salomon Manriquez went 0-for-3 for the Magallanes on Friday.

Another catcher – La Guaira's Max Ramirez – was 0-for-4. He also gunned down a runner stealing second and had his first passed ball of the season.

Dominican Winter League

Centerfielder Freddy Guzman singled and walked in four trips to the plate for Escogido. He also stole his third base of the winter.
