The CaneFires lost, but not before Ian Gac (.310/.395/.648) belted his sixth home run of the winter. It was his only hit in four at-bats.

Left fielder Chad Tracy (1/3, BB) and centerfielder Craig Gentry (0/3, HBP) also played.

John Mayberry (.208/.333/.396) had another hitless day, as he was 0-for-3.

Reliever Scott Feldman coughed up four runs – three earned – on four hits in two innings. He walked one and struck out one.

Feldman has surrendered three home runs in five AFL outings.

Mexican Winter League

Obregon left fielder Jason Botts was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.

Brandon Boggs played in another doubleheader for Mexicali. He was 1-for-3 with a double in the first game and 1-for-4 in the nightcap. He is batting .333.

Venezuelan Winter League

No Rangers appeared on Tuesday.

Dominican Winter League

All three games were postponed once again.
