Left fielder Chad Tracy (.290/.362/.597) went 2-for-4 with a double – his fourth – for the CaneFires on Saturday.

Craig Gentry (1/5), Ian Gac (1/3, BB) and K.C. Herren (1/4) also singled once.

Arizona Fall League: Surprise 6 – (@) Peoria Saguaros 5

Nineteen-year-old shortstop Elvis Andrus (.333/.394/.467) helped star for Surprise, as he was 2-for-3 with a walk.

Third baseman German Duran was 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base while catcher Taylor Teagarden went hitless in five at-bats.

Scott Feldman picked up the victory with two scoreless innings of relief. He allowed one hit, walked none, and fanned two.

Mexican Winter League


The Aguilas played 13 innings, but centerfielder Brandon Boggs went 0-for-6 with a base on balls.

Jason Botts' game went 14 innings, but he was also hitless. The DH was 0-for-6 with five punchouts.

Venezuelan Winter League


Kendy Batista (0.75 ERA/.146 BAA in 12 IP) didn't allow a run in 1 1/3 innings. He surrendered no hits, walked two, and fanned one.

Dominican Winter League


Omar Beltre lowered his ERA to 7.71 with a scoreless inning for Este.

Centerfielder Freddy Guzman's batting average fell to .167 with yet another hitless effort. He was 0-for-3.
