Doug Mathis (2.37 ERA/.217 BAA) has torn through the PCL in his first three starts, amassing a 2.37 ERA with an impressive 3-to-1 groundout-to-flyout ratio.

Right fielder Nelson Cruz (.357/.525/.679) was 1-for-2 with a home run and two walks. He also stole his third base of the year.
Despite committing his sixth error of the young season, third baseman Ryan Roberts was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and a triple.
Nate Gold (1/4) also hit a home run, his second of the season.
Second baseman German Duran smacked his second triple of the year.
Making his first minor league start in the U.S., Kazuo Fukumori threw 11 strikes and 12 balls in one inning. He didn't give up any runs though, allowing one hit, walking one, and fanning two.
Bill White also struggled with control, as he walked the bases loaded. But the lefty also escaped unharmed.
Hard-throwing righty Frank Francisco fanned four in 1 1/3 hitless innings.

Frisco played longball once again, getting four home runs in the game's 10 innings.

DH Taylor Teagarden and catcher Max Ramirez both went 1-for-5 with a solo home run.
First baseman Chris Davis threw three walks in five plate appearances.
Starter Matt Harrison struggled early on, leading to four runs allowed in five innings. He surrendered five hits, walked three, and struck out five.
Brennan Garr came in and recorded the first two outs of the eighth inning, but then walked two, hit a batter, and gave up a two-run single. Both of Garr's runs allowed were earned.

Catcher Manny Pina was 1-for-2 with a walk and a sac fly. He drove in a pair of runs.
Jose Vallejo (.365/.431/.423) singled, walked, and stole his fourth base of the year.
DH Chad Tracy drove in a pair with a two-run double while right fielder Grant Gerrard struck out in each of his four at-bats.
Lefty Ryan Falcon (1.17 ERA/.200 BAA) gave up just one hit in 2 2/3 scoreless innings, walking none and fanning one.
Andrew Laughter earned his second save with a scoreless ninth inning.

The L-Kings were hurt by a puzzling seven errors on Tuesday night, including three from right fielder Miguel Alfonzo.
Starting pitcher Ryan Tatusko lasted just three innings despite not allowing a hit. He walked five batters and gave up two runs, one of which was earned.
Julio Santana, who suffered the loss, allowed five runs – only two earned – in two innings.
Catcher Jose Felix (.455/.478/.636) isn't known for his bat, but he's off to a hot start with Clinton. Felix went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in the game.
Engel Beltre (2/5, SB), Ian Gac (2/5, 2B), Cristian Santana (2/4, 2 2B, BB), and Tim Smith (2/5, 2B) all had multiple hits.
The heart of Clinton's order [Gac, Santana, Smith, and Felix] have combined to hit .410 with seven home runs in the season's first two weeks.
