Clinton third baseman Jonathan Greene continued rolling with a double and a homer on Saturday evening. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

Robinson Tejeda (2.67 ERA/.170 BAA) was dominant as usual, tossing seven innings of two-run, three-hit ball. The hard throwing righty walked one and struck out 11. Tejeda has yet to record his first win of the season despite holding a 2.67 ERA in 31 innings pitched.

John Mayberry, who was back in left field, singled four times in five at-bats. He drove in two runs.

Jason Botts (1/3, 2B, 2 BB) and Travis Metcalf (1/4, 2B) each doubled.

Warner Madrigal worked the eighth inning and gave up a run on a hit and two walks. It was his first blown save since his promotion to Triple-A.

Bill White fanned the side in the ninth inning before Kazuo Fukumori tossed a shutout 10th to earn the victory.

Catcher Taylor Teagarden (.293/.453/.366 in Triple-A) singled and was hit by a pitch in four trips to the plate.

Dustin Majewski (.311/.395/.466) helped give the ‘Riders the lead for good in the eighth inning with his RBI double. The Brenham native also singled earlier in the game.

Starting pitcher Michael Schlact yielded five runs on 10 hits in six innings, walking four and fanning one.

Reliever Brian Gordon (0.60 ERA/.154 BAA) allowed only one hit in three scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Frisco's infield helped its pitchers by turning four double plays in the game.

Ben Harrison (1/2, BB) and Emerson Frostad (1/3, BB) both reached base multiple times.

The Blaze didn't hit any home runs on Saturday, but they recorded 11 runs on 19 hits.

Jose Vallejo (3/6), John Whittleman (3/6) and Mauro Gomez (3/5) all singled three times while centerfielder Truan Mehl (3/5, 2B) singled twice and doubled once.

Grant Gerrard (2/5, 2B), Chad Tracy (1/4, 2B) and Manny Pina (1/4, 2B) also hit doubles in the game.

Shortstop Marcus Lemon (.290/.405/.430) singled twice in five plate appearances.

Evan Reed gave up six runs in five innings of work, walking two and striking out five.

Kennil Gomez (2.45 ERA/.206 BAA) earned his seventh victory in as many decisions to open the 2008 season. The 20-year-old surrendered three runs – two earned – on three hits in five innings. He struck out six while walking only two.

Third baseman Jonathan Greene (.294/.415/.588 in May) fell a triple short of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, and a walk.

Cristian Santana homered, walked, and drove in four runs. The round-tripper was his only hit in four at-bats.

Making his first appearance of the season, Keisuke Ueno gave up two runs in 1 2/3 innings. The native of Japan walked three and struck out two.

Adalberto Flores earned his third save of the year after fanning five batters in 2 1/3 scoreless frames.
