It was a rough day for the Rafters, as they gave up 13 runs, committed four errors, and had just three base hits.

Centerfielder Julio Borbon (0/4) and DH Chad Tracy (0/3) both went hitless on the day.

Beau Jones pitched two innings and yielded two runs – one earned – on three hits. He fanned one without giving up a walk.

Righty Andrew Laughter kept Scottsdale off the board through his 1.2 frames. He allowed only a single while recording one strikeout.

Mexican Pacific League

No Rangers appeared on Thursday.

Venezuelan Winter League

Right fielder Miguel Alfonzo is certainly one of the less experienced players in the Venezuelan Winter League, but he came through on Wednesday, going 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.

Leadoff man Renny Osuna was 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

Ben Harrison went 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus singled and walked in three plate appearances for Magallanes. In his first three games, Andrus is 4-for-9 with one triple and one walk.
