Bannister pitched two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out three. Jones tossed one shutout frame with one strikeout.

DH John Whittleman was 0-for-4 with a run batted in.

Playing for the Javelinas, first baseman Justin Smoak was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk.
