Hermosillo third baseman German Duran played in his first game of the winter and went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.

Right-hander Luis Mendoza gave up one hit in a shutout inning of relief.

Elvis Andrus raised his average to .269 by going 2-for-4 with a walk. He also had a sacrifice bunt.

DH Max Ramirez was 1-for-5 with a double while Ben Harrison singled once and walked once in five plate appearances.
