Starter Willie Eyre kept Scottsdale off the board for both of his innings. Eyre gave up two hits, walked none, and fanned two.

John Bannister pitched a perfect ninth inning, striking out one.

DH John Whittleman was 0-for-2, but he drew three walks in the game. Whittleman now has eight free passes in his last five Fall League contests.

Peoria Javelinas first baseman Justin Smoak singled once and walked twice in four trips.

Mexican Pacific League

German Duran had one single in five at-bats.

Obregon centerfielder Brandon Boggs appeared in his first game since November 7 and went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run.

Venezuelan Winter League

La Guaira sluggers Ben Harrison and Max Ramirez helped contribute to the Tiburones' 21 runs on Tuesday.

Harrison (2/3, 2B, BB) had three RBIs while Ramirez (1/5, BB) knocked home two runs.

Relief pitcher Kendy Batista struck out one and walked one in a scoreless inning.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus had a pair of singles in five at-bats.

Dominican Winter League

Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia produced in just his second game, going 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and a base on balls.

Right fielder Nelson Cruz singled once and walked once in five plate appearances.

Puerto Rican Winter League

No Rangers appeared on Tuesday.
