Third baseman John Whittleman went 2-for-5 with a double and a home run. In his last four games, the 21-year-old is 4-for-12 with two doubles, one home run, and six walks.

DH Chad Tracy was 0-for-4 with a base on balls.

Relief pitchers Beau Jones and Andrew Laughter both tossed one shutout inning.

Mexican Pacific League

Third baseman German Duran walked in his only place appearance.

Brandon Boggs doubled once in four at-bats.

Venezuelan Winter League

Elvis Andrus (.267/.347/.344) was 1-for-3 with a single and a walk.

Catcher Max Ramirez and right fielder Ben Harrison both reached safely twice in four plate appearances. Ramirez singled twice while Harrison had a single and a walk.

Dominican Winter League

Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia singled twice in four at-bats for Escogido.

Puerto Rican Winter League

No Rangers appeared on Wednesday.
