Starting pitcher Josh Rupe didn't strike out a batter in six innings, but he limited Las Vegas to just two runs on seven hits, walking three.

Lefty A.J. Murray (0.86 ERA/.194 BAA) struck out two in two scoreless innings. He allowed one hit and didn't issue a walk.

Right fielder Brandon Boggs (2/4, HR) and catcher Kevin Richardson (1/3, HR, BB) both hit two-run homers for the RedHawks.

Esteban German singled twice in four at-bats.

Oklahoma City lost when the bullpen [Beau Vaughan and Brian Gordon] coughed up four runs while recording just one of the three ninth-inning outs.

Marcus Lemon (0/3, 2 BB), Emerson Frostad (0/2, 2 BB) and Dustin Majewski (0/2, 2 BB) all walked twice.

Righty Thomas Diamond hurled 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and walking three. He struck out four.

First baseman Mitch Moreland was 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, and a base on balls.

DH Ian Gac (1/5, HR) also went yard while Renny Osuna (1/3, 2B, 3 BB), Jose Felix (2/4, 2B) and Matt Lawson (2/5, 2B) also doubled once.

Corey Young (2.1 IP) and Josh Lueke (2.2 IP) combined to strike out nine batters in five innings. They both gave up one earned run and one unearned run.

Pitching in his first game of the season, right-hander Trevor Hurley tossed a scoreless inning. He allowed two hits and walked one batter.

Matt Nevarez fanned three in 1.1 shutout frames. He walked two, but didn't surrender a hit.
