Winterball Roundup - 10/13

The Arizona Fall League kicked off on Tuesday afternoon, and the Surprise Rafters picked up a win after a dominant offensive performance. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

No Rangers prospects saw action until late in the game.

Right-handed reliever Brennan Garr surrendered two runs on two hits [a double and a solo home run] in one inning work. He walked zero and struck out zero. According to the new pitch/FX data for the Arizona Fall League, Garr worked mostly between 90-92 mph with his fastball.

Second baseman Marcus Lemon entered as a defensive replacement and singled in his only plate appearance. Catcher Doug Hogan struck out in his lone trip.

Mexican Pacific League

No Rangers appeared in Tuesday's action. Minor league free agent Bryan Corey, who pitched with Triple-A Oklahoma City this past summer, tossed five innings of one-run ball in his start for Obregon. Corey gave up five hits while walking one and striking out two.

Venezuelan Winter League

The entire league was off on Tuesday.
