After a strong start, the Rafters continue to fade quickly, as they now sit four games behind first-place Peoria.

Matt Harrison continued to show excellent velocity on Monday, but his results were poor. The left-hander got the start, but he didn't record a single out. Harrison gave up three runs on two hits and three walks. Just seven of his 19 pitches were strikes.

Right-hander Daniel Gutierrez struggled a bit, as he yielded three runs on four hits in three innings. He walked one and fanned one.

Tanner Scheppers was much more successful, tossing two hitless frames. Scheppers gave up zero runs while walking one and striking out one.

Catcher Taylor Teagarden singled and walked off super-prospect Stephen Strasburg. Overall, the Dallas native was 2-for-3 with a free pass.

Right fielder Mitch Moreland went hitless in four at-bats.
