Rangers prospects didn't play a big factor in Monday's game, but leadoff hitter and centerfielder Marcus Lemon went 1-for-4 with a double. Lemon's slugging percentage currently sits at an impressive .545 through 44 at-bats.

Catcher Taylor Teagarden was 0-for-3 with a walk. He struck out twice.

Dominican Winter League

Toros DH Esteban German singled twice in four at-bats, raising his batting average to .286.

Escogido shortstop Joaquin Arias singled once in three trips. He also laid down a successful sacrifice bunt and stole his third base of the season.

Minor league free agent pitcher Jailen Peguero, who finished the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, earned his first save with a scoreless inning. In eight innings this winter, the 28-year-old has surrendered four earned runs on seven hits, walking six and striking out five.
